Ambongdolan Caves!

As promised, sir B =) and sir Wil (hehehe) here is my initial entry about the Ambongdolan Caves. But because I am so tamad at this point in time, I just copied this entry from the website of Tublay (pardon me!hehe...). Below are brief write-ups about two of the famous caves in Ambongdolan. I am not sure of their correctness pero I can't edit it saka na lang ako blog ng own version ko pag sinipag..hehe. I don't know why they only posted these two but there are many others pa. I don't have any pictures of them at hand as I have yet to go home and take pictures of these caves (kaso due to time constraint I can't go to each of the other caves and take a pic, one thing more wala po ako camera, nanghihiram lang...hehe). Anyways, enjoy the patikim....

Tourist Spots in Tublay

The municipality of Tublay have existing tourism resources specifically located in the barangays of Ambongdolan, and Tuel. There are also potential tourism resources for development, which can be located in all the other barangays.

BENGAO-NGAO CAVE:

Bengaongao connotes noise. The cave was named after the noisy birds that thrive inside. It is also a sanctuary for the bats. This is located in barangay Ambongdolan. The cave offers beautiful sceneries inside. Over the years, stones were formed with different shapes like tables, plates, etc. with glitters. The stalagmitesare eye catchiong. The stalactites hang freely like silk cloths.

It is believed that the cave once served as a hiding place of the Japanese soldiers or Filipino guerillas during world war II.

Here is a picture of the stalagmites and stalactites of Bengaongao cave.

PATERNO CAVE:

This cave was named in memory of Pedro Paterno, the Cabinet Head under the presidency of Aguinaldo. This served as his hideout during the Filipino-American war in the late 1900's. This cave is rich in marble.

just asking....hehe,,,

How would you feel if you were told that the gift that has been promised you, which you have been waiting for will never be given to you as it had been given to someone else?

...ma-khes ni puso(heart's cry)!...hehe,

UNMET LONGINGS

Life really is very ironic

There are things that you want to have

But it can never be yours and will never be yours.

Even though it hurts so badly but that is reality

And you can not do anything

To change that reality even you feel so badly for it

Even if you shed a lot of tears

Even if your heart wanted to burst

Because even if it so near

That you could almost touch it

Yet it is so far always eluding your reach

You can see it but never touch it

You can see it but will never have it

It’s just lurking around but you can never

Really have it as yours and yours alone.

Isn’t life ironic?

It gives what you do not want

Rather gives the best that had been prepared

For you and you alone

It is just there waiting for the taking

Just open your eyes and you will see it

Free yourself and take what is rightfully yours.

Go! Go and take it

It is just around like the wind

Just open your heart and mind

That you might see it fully

Smiling and waiting for you

Just around the corner.

Take it and happiness be yours

Happiness that can not be fathomed

But for now what you have to do is

Wait, patiently…so patiently

If you can not yet see it

Because in due time

The gift that is rightfully,

And entirely yours and yours alone

Will be revealed to you

Then you will be flooded

With unfathomable joy

That will be yours forever.

...another day!!!...

October 04, 2007; 12:19

aNOther sEt of SURPRISEs!!!

…I’ve blogged earlier of the surprises that I had on ‘the day’ of my birthday. We just concluded my bday celebration a few hours ago. The house is back to normal and everyone else went their own ways, each to their own laptops..hehe. Back to work ba..hehe. But before that this is what happened…

…my bday celeb was scheduled yesterday 0ctober 3, a day after my bday, we scheduled it that way to accommodate some needs and requests…hehe…

…so this morning, I woke up very early to buy the things we needed for the party,

…and as usual luto luto again…(tingnan u na lang pics in my album, ayos?)

…after ng lutuan, wait na kami ng mga guests…

My guests:

…UKeith came straight from the airport! What a surprise! Tita Nanay Nitz arrived midway the program (wat program?wait lang, I’ll tell about it later..hehe)

…schoolmates and classmates from AGS came as well (tignan u na lang sa pics, hehe…)

…Kuya Leo & Kuya Bong…

Thanks all sa mga dumating and the others who did not come…thanks for all your prayers…

Now about the party naman…

…I wasn’t expecting that my hauzmates (thanks to ate Robyn) had a connivance with some of our friends and prepared something different from what we usually do when we have a celebration in the hauz…thanks you all…grabe talaga…

…since we have friends from all over…we started the program introducing ourselves…then the surprises started…Ptr. Don shared something from The Word…using the life of Abigail…Abigail a woman of beauty inside and out…he stressed that women should not just put makeup in their faces but also apply spiritual makeup…thanks talaga Don! (next bday celeb c Yhong naman na mapreach…hehe…)…afterwards…Yhong serenaded me (kilig..wahaha…)…my sisterhood w/ Kuyas B&D have stolen (according to sis Sar) a white shirt of mine and made it more attractive and gave it back as their gift to me…hehehe, with all their greetings and wishes for me (now that’s better than a card, huh)…a few from the visitors gave their wishes for me as well…ansaya talaga…I was inspired (all single men and ladies actually) by what UK shared about waiting for the right man/woman at the right time…

…afterwards came the most favorite part (hehehe…)…eating time…and fellowshipping with one another…I was so overwhelmed with what they had prepared for me that I got faint but as they say tuloy pa rin…todo smile as you will see sa pics..hehehe…

…From what transpired during the party…I have only one thing to say…I am soooo happy and thankful to God for giving or surrounding me with friends who loves me and care one way or another…for the people who wasn’t able to come so sorry you all missed the fun yet…still I thank you for your prayers and all your messages…

what a day!!!

SURPRISESǃ SURPRISESǃ

“As the clock struck midnight…” (sounds familiar, huh?). What does this line from the famous Cinderella fantasy movie got to do with my blog? (Read on…)

Anyways, last night as I sat in front of my computer musing, taking a break from what I was doing, I got a surpriseǃ It may sound absurd or trivial to some but who cares…hehe. As I was in the mode of thinking as my hands tap on the keyboards mindlessly (naglalaro kc ako e…break nga d ba?hehe…). My sisterhood (d twin ates&sar) sat themselves right behind me and serenaded meǃ What for? It’s my birthdayǃ Yes, I was elated because of their thoughfulnessǃ Thanks mga kasisteran. I also received greetings from all over…thanks to technology… (thru texts, chikka, ym and blogs). Thanks also for those who greeted me earlier on, who might have forgotten the date…hehe. Salamat ng marami sa lahat…

Instead of the usual ‘good night’ messages I get from text friends, I received hapi bdays of all sorts…thanks ya’ll guys…as if that is not enough, when I entered our room at around 2am, my room mate played a recording of herself singing me a happy birthday and wishing me all the best…haaay, I slept with a smile on my face after thanking the good Lord for the dayǃ When I woke up, I have a message from my mom and I got a call from my tita who’s working overseas…as well as from pipz all over…yun lang masaya na akoǃ

“I am thankful to the Lord that He has taken me thus far and I don’t know where and what greater heights He will lead me to but where He leads me I will go.”

Thank you all for your prayers. Here are a few prayer itemsː

  1. Strength, wisdom, and good health as we finish all our requirements for this semester. Pray that we will finish them and submit them on time so that we can go home and enjoy our semestral break.
  2. For me, as I juggle between requirements and duties as a Student Body officer.
  3. Pray for our Mission Trip to Davao on Nov. 6-15, 2007. Pray that God will prepare us and the people that we will be seeing there. It is our first trip (ever) to Davao. Please pray also that we will have enough finance. We have our tickets (round trip) but for other finances we are still raising.
  4. For the source of my brother’s finance for next semester.
  5. Pray that my father and brother would come to know the saving grace of God.

Thank you all again and God blessǃǃǃ
