d ba?

if there's a no way to shield us from the repercussions of life's realities then it is not just right that we be given the chance to say our piece? not to hide in the guise of love that keeps the object weak but to care enough to set them free and empower them to speak.

tExt msg i reCEivED 2dAY

a question that will awaken you:
what is a thrash can?
to a kid, it's just a container for his ugly toys,
to a student, it's where she kips her bad test papers,
to a teenager, it's basketcase for the letters of an ex-lover,
to a writer, it's where files of rejected drafts are thrown,
BUT
to street children, it's where they depend on to live...

See, how blessed we are?

ganda!

somebody pointed out this video to me...and since i saw it...na-inlove na rin ako...it's a song by Nicole Nordeman entitled 'Why'...watch it to see why i loved it na...

whatyathink?...be brutally honest!lolz...

this question has been playing in my mind for several days na. here is the situation, then tell me kung kaplastikan ba o hindi...i mayhave change some details para mas masaya..hehe...

i have this friend who is also a teacher of mine. she is known of being a good teacher.very friendly.very understanding.you can always go to her and tell her what you have in mind.since that is her reputation at nakita ko naman with my own eyes na true naman yung sinasabi nila.so one time, naisipan kong lumapit sa kanya to ask for advice kase nahihirapan ako sa isa kong subject. i was expecting her to help me kase nga aside from the above descriptions siya rin ang right person na puntahan ko to ask for permission kase siya ang dean namin.i actually cried in front of her when i told her na nahihirapan ako.well, i mayhave expected too much kase she did not give me any advice at all.she just said, 'ganon ba?'.well to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she's got also her own problems that time.tapos, naging teacher namin siya, much to my (and my classmates) disappointment, the name of our course is contrary to what i expected.and then sunod sunod na yung mga pangyayari na parang nakakawala ng respeto ko sa kanya.lagi kong sinasabi sa aking mga kaibigan na ang mga sama ng loob ko about her.pero pag kaharap ko xa todo ang ngiti ko.ang sa akin naman kase, yes totoo masama ang loob ko sa kanya pero i still respect her authority and if i keep on complaining about her 'pagkukulang' it does not mean that i do not respect her as she is.she've come a long way to be as she is now....one time, nashare ko sa isang friend ko ito.she told me, 'i am plastic daw' sabi ko yes if that's kaplastikan.may i ask you now.

what do you think?give me an honest answer, one that comes from the heart (hanep sa kadramahan, obvious ba na nagmamarakulyo ako?)...even though it hurts...thanks you'll...

ATTN: CHILDREN ATHEISM IN THE MOVIE 'THE GOLDEN COMPASS'!!!

i was sent an e-mail regarding this movie so i'm not gonna watch it altho i was thinking of it earlier. i copied this post of Rev. Aris Ansagay from the AGSAA yahoo group... READ ON...

Hi All;

Worth taking action .....and especially if you have kids...

There will be a new children's movie out in December called 'The Golden Compass'. The movie has been described as 'atheism for kids' and is based on the first book of a trilogy entitled 'His Dark Materials' that was written by Phillip Pullman. Pullman is a militant atheist and secular humanist who despises C. S. Lewis and the 'Chronicles of Narnia'. His motivation for writing this trilogy was specifically to counteract Lewis' symbolisms of Christ that are portrayed in the Narnia series.
Clearly, Pullman's main objective is to bash Christianity and promote atheism. Pullman left little doubt about his intentions when he said in a 2003 interview that 'my books are about killing God.'
He has even stated that he wants to 'kill God in the minds of children'. It has been said of Pullman that he is 'the writer the atheists would be praying for, if atheists prayed. While 'The Golden Compass' movie itself may seem mild and innocent, the books are a much different story. In the trilogy, a young streetwise girl becomes enmeshed in an epic struggle to ultimately defeat the oppressive forces of a senile God. Another character, an ex-nun, describes Christianity as 'a very powerful and convincing mistake.' In the final book, characters representing Adam and Eve eventually kill God, who at times is called YAHWEH.

Each book in the trilogy gets progressively worse regarding Pullman's hatred of Jesus Christ.

'The Golden Compass' is set to premier on December 7, during the Christmas season (and staring Nicole Kidman), and will probably be heavily advertised.

Promoters hope that unsuspecting parents will take their children to see the movie, that they will enjoy the movie, and that the children will want the books for Christmas.

Please consider a boycott of the movie and the books. Also, pass
this information along to everyone you know (including church leaders).

This will help to educate parents, so that they will know the agenda of the movie. I am sending this to those of you who have kids or friends with kids, grandkids or have influence with kids. So many things today are darkness concealed in what appears to be innocent.
FYI.

Don't let kids see 'The Golden Compass'

For anyone with kids, grandkids other relatives or friends who this may concern, I have checked it out at http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/compass.asp and it is true.

Read the info on the link.

PASS THIS ON AND LET'S HELP STOP THIS MOVIE DEAD IN ITS TRACKS!!!!
